About this role
Intuit is a global fintech company and the maker of QuickBooks, powering prosperity for millions of small and mid-market businesses worldwide. Our teams sit at the intersection of data, technology, and customer obsession, using AI, automation, and experimentation to drive real commercial outcomes at scale.
We are seeking a commercially minded, strategic B2B Event Lead to shape and execute our physical event strategy across the UK.
Operating within a lean, high-performing team, you will translate overarching business goals into high-impact 1st-party flagship experiences (conferences, executive roundtables, launch moments) and 3rd-party industry activations (trade shows, sponsorship events). Rather than managing isolated moments, you will treat our annual event portfolio as a cohesive thread within our broader audience strategy, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces our messaging over time to build cumulative momentum and deliver lasting business impact.
You will own the complete event lifecycle, from initial strategic briefing, audience positioning, and cross-functional orchestration to pre/post-event activations, sales alignment, and commercial measurement - ensuring every event accelerates pipeline and delivers measurable return on investment.
We champion collaboration and this role is based in our Victoria, London office (3 days a week).
Responsibilities
- Translate commercial objectives into clear event briefs, audience strategies, and experiential formats that deliver measurable business outcomes across 1st- and 3rd-party UK events.
- Ensure all physical events function as a cohesive, connected thread within our broader annual audience strategy. Design event content, themes, and pre/post-event activations that build cumulative momentum over time, reinforcing key positioning and driving long-term business goals across every touchpoint.
- Lead internal cross-functional workstreams, partnering seamlessly with Product Marketing, Comms/PR, Sales, Product, and Content teams to shape high-stakes event narratives, agendas, and executive briefings.
- Direct end-to-end execution, production, and logistics across flagship builds and trade shows, managing external production agencies and vendor partners with strict budget discipline.
- Establish deep, trusted partnerships with Sales leadership and account teams to drive target account nominations, rep engagement, and structured pre- and post-event rep touchpoints.
- Partner across Marketing, Sales, and Finance to establish clear performance frameworks for every event, evaluating success against strategic business goals and reporting insights to executive stakeholders.
- Build repeatable event playbooks and operational templates while acting as a flexible co-lead within a small collaborative team to ensure long-term portfolio redundancy.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in B2B tech/SaaS translating commercial strategy into growth-focused event engines—acting as a business strategist, not just an executioner.
- Dual capability to drive C-suite narratives and sales strategy while maintaining the operational rigor to direct agencies and run live events.
- Proven track record of linking 1st and 3rd-party events into a connected, year-round campaign thread that builds cumulative business impact.
- Expert at leading cross-functional workstreams (PMM, Comms, Product, etc) by driving alignment through influence and relationship-building, while partnering directly with Sales Leadership on account nomination and rep touchpoints
- Skilled in establishing cross-functional measurement frameworks (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to evaluate success against business goals and report insights to executives.
- Deep experience steering production agencies, negotiating contracts, and managing large project budgets with strict discipline
- Adept at leveraging AI tools for workflow efficiency, proactively mitigating event risks, and mentoring peers in high-pressure problem-solving.
