Your Role at Sephora
Ready for a career glow up? As Systems Technologist, DAM & Scale , you’ll drive the integration, enhancement, and scaling of advanced technologies within Sephora’s Digital Asset Management ecosystem. The work you do will impact beauty by connecting marketing vision with technical execution and creating more efficient ways to deliver iconic marketing experiences. You’ll be part of a MarTech team that’s united in beauty, supported by colleagues who are equally passionate about digital innovation, artificial intelligence, workflow optimization, and designing scalable solutions. Operating with a high degree of technical independence, you’ll build and maintain the integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and automations that connect Adobe Experience Manager Assets with Sephora’s broader technology ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

- Manage the day-to-day operation of Adobe Experience Manager Assets , including user onboarding and offboarding, platform support, access management, issue resolution, and technical troubleshooting.

- Maintain and optimize automations, scripts, and agentic AI workflows that improve how digital assets are created, enriched, managed, and distributed.

- Conduct quality assurance for metadata and tagging, including troubleshooting automated and AI-enabled tagging capabilities.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for DAM users and technical partners, diagnosing issues and developing sustainable solutions.

- Independently design, build, test, implement, and optimize integrations across Adobe Experience Manager Assets, SharePoint, and Sephora’s broader MarTech ecosystem.

- Develop custom integrations and automated data pipelines using REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication protocols, JSON, webhooks, SQL, Python, or comparable technologies.

- Partner across Marketing, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to lead discovery, translate business requirements into technical designs, and deliver end-to-end workflow solutions.

- Use SQL and other analytical tools to query usage and adoption data, define key performance indicators, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of DAM technologies.

- Build reports and dashboards, analyze platform performance, identify trends, and translate findings into recommendations that support strategic decisions.

- Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to reduce manual work and improve connectivity across Sephora’s digital systems.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, platform guidelines, governance standards, and workflow best practices.

- Create and deliver training programs that increase user proficiency, promote consistent processes, and strengthen adoption of DAM technologies.

- Apply Agile methodologies and technical project-management practices to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions.

What You’ll Bring

- 3-5 years of experience managing a complex, integrated Digital Asset Management platform, with experience in Adobe Experience Manager Assets as a Cloud Service preferred.

- 3-5 years of experience in technology, digital innovation, interactive development, or a related field, preferably within retail, consumer products, or a digital agency.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience writing SQL to query, join, analyze, and report on data across multiple systems.

- Experience building system integrations using REST APIs, including authentication, JSON, and webhooks.

- Experience scripting or automating processes using Python or a comparable programming language.

- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager Assets APIs or GraphQL is a strong plus.

- Working knowledge of data-pipeline and ETL concepts, including the movement of DAM content and metadata into downstream systems such as web, product information management, e-commerce, or SharePoint platforms.

- Experience using Git or another version-control system, along with the ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.

- The ability to independently scope, build, test, troubleshoot, and optimize technical solutions with minimal oversight.

- A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and technical project-management practices.

- A solution-oriented approach, with the ability to evaluate complex problems and develop thoughtful, innovative, and scalable solutions.

- An interest in design and user experience, with an eye for aesthetics, usability, and performance.

- Strong verbal, written, presentation, organizational, and planning skills.

- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

- A collaborative approach and demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships, influence partners, and create alignment across all levels of an organization.

- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and professional experience preferred.
