About this role
Family Location: 92603
A bit about us:
We are a warm, close-knit family of five looking for a wonderful long-term nanny to care primarily for our happy 11-month-old daughter. Our family enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, hiking, and spending time outdoors together. Both parents work from home, so we appreciate thoughtful communication, teamwork, and a caregiver who can confidently lead engaging activities while respecting our workday routines.
Our 11-month-old daughter is discovering the joy of walking, loves books and music, and is happiest exploring the garden or watching her two big brothers play.
Our 3-year-old and 5-year-old boys love their baby sister! They will be at school during the majority of our nanny’s schedule. They enjoy building forts, jumping on the trampoline, wrestling, reading books, coloring, and doing crafts.
A bit about you:
You are an energetic, attentive caregiver who radiates warmth and kindness. You love being actively involved in a toddler's day, whether that means reading stories, dancing to music, encouraging new steps, or taking a stroller walk to the nearby park. You notice the little things, take pride in keeping children's spaces tidy, and are happy to follow a family's preferred routines, including how clothing is folded and organized. Punctuality, safety, and trustworthiness are second nature to you, and you bring an authentic and positive presence along with a playful spirit. You welcome feedback, communicate openly, and are comfortable collaborating with parents who work from home. Most of all, you are engaged, and excited to support a little one's growth through thoughtful, age-appropriate experiences.
Job Duties:
Provide attentive daily care for an 11-month-old, including meals, diapering, naps, safe supervision, and age-appropriate developmental play. Plan engaging activities such as books, music, movement, simple art projects, backyard exploration, and stroller walks, making use of the nearby park and outdoor spaces. Prepare simple meals and snacks for the toddler, clean the kitchen after meal prep, and assist with children's laundry, folding, and organization according to the family's preferences. During nap time, help with light child-related meal preparation and tidying as needed. The two older children attend school; when they are home on school holidays, join in age-appropriate activities and collaborate with a parent rather than assuming sole responsibility for all three children. Communicate clearly about the day's activities and adjust routines thoughtfully when a parent needs a quiet work or meeting space.

The family values excellent hygiene, sound safety judgment, and the ability to provide attentive, phone-free care. Candidates should be comfortable with active toddler care, child-related housekeeping, and receiving and applying feedback in a respectful, collaborative environment.
