Caring Transitions of Knoxville is seeking a personable, motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our local referral network. We support seniors and families through downsizing, relocation, estate sales, online auctions, and home clean-outs.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building professional relationships, and making a positive difference in the community.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with senior living communities, real estate professionals, estate planning attorneys, senior service providers, and other referral partners.
- Introduce our services through calls, emails, in-person visits, and presentations.
- Attend local networking events, community meetings, and professional gatherings.
- Follow up with prospective partners and incoming business inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, outreach activities, and referral opportunities.
- Coordinate with our team to connect prospective clients with the appropriate services.

Qualifications

- Some experience in business development, sales, marketing, community outreach, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
- Compassion and sensitivity when working with seniors and families navigating life transitions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and follow through consistently.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using email, calendars, and contact management tools.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Knoxville area.
- Existing connections in the local senior services or real estate community are a plus.

Position Details

- Part-time, with scheduling coordinated around outreach activities and events.
- Local travel and in-person relationship building are required.
