About this role

The Mills Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology/Metabolism to investigate metabolite signaling and innate immune cell function in models of infection and cancer.

Our research uses mass spectrometry-based approaches to define metabolite signaling at both the cellular and whole-body level, with the goal of understanding how metabolism shapes immune cell function. We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in metabolomics, immunology, and translational discovery who is excited to contribute to a collaborative and intellectually vibrant research environment.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of international researchers, including PhD students and postdoctoral fellows, who value collaboration, scientific rigor, and mutual support. The lab provides substantial one-on-one mentorship, along with the guidance and resources needed for successful project completion and career development, including preparation for future independent research opportunities.

Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We are united in our mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS, and related diseases. We strive to create an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds, and design programs to promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.
