Description
Visiting Fellow, Virus-Host Interactions and Immunology
The Medina Lab, part of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Emory Vaccine Center at Emory University School of Medicine, studies the molecular basis of disease, pathogenesis, and host immune responses during influenza, SARS-CoV-2, and other RNA virus infections. Combining in vitro and in vivo infection models with virology, immunology, multi-omics, and bioinformatics, the lab investigates viral zoonosis, immune evasion, and the host-pathogen interactions that determine resilience versus severe disease.
