About this role

Description

Amazon, one of the top 100 companies in the United States, has an immediate opening for a IT Equipment Coordinator in our Fulfillment Center (FC). FCs throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ship them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. Amazon seeks individuals who are willing to work hard, have fun, and join us in making worldwide history.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include allocation and maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center. IT Equipment Coordinators are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. The IT Equipment Coordinator is a member of the larger IT team within the FC and will specifically support the Technicians and Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed. This position reports directly to the IT manager for the fulfillment center.

A day in the life
Your day starts by reviewing email for handoffs and escalations, checking your calendar, and prioritizing the ServiceNow ticket queue by severity and age. From there, you'll handle equipment requests — provisioning devices, processing RMAs, receiving inventory, and submitting purchase orders through Coupa. You'll perform daily RF scanner and battery audits, manage on-site repairs, and review billed invoices. GEMBA walks keep you connected to operations, and you'll flag any IT findings to the team. Each shift wraps up with an End of Shift report covering tickets worked, handoffs, and project updates. Projects, trainings, and large audits keep things dynamic.

About the team
The Ops Tech team at SAT1 is a close-knit group dedicated to keeping our fulfillment center running at peak performance. We maintain and support the technology infrastructure that powers millions of customer deliveries. Our team thrives on collaboration, ownership, and a bias for action — every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a direct impact on operations. We have a wonderful team, and this location offers a number of great opportunities, both as an Equipment Coordinator and for someone who is striving for more, like IT Associate and beyond. If you're looking for a role where your contributions are visible and your growth is supported, we'd love to have you on the team.
