- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using root cause analysis techniques, diagnosing issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Document all maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and inventory transactions accurately within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance issues quickly, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules and quality standards
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and proactively prevent failures
- Execute equipment calibration, cleaning, lubrication, and routine checks according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support equipment installations, modifications, and decommissioning projects while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed equipment history records including work performed, spare parts utilized, and associated costs for reporting and analysis
- Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures, training materials, and best practices that strengthen team capabilities and operational reliability

Required qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a reliability technician or maintenance technician within pharmaceutical manufacturing or similarly regulated industries
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance requirements, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), standard operating procedures, and OSHA safety regulations
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and relevant software applications for documentation and tracking
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with capacity to analyze complex technical issues and execute appropriate corrective actions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and meet the physical demands of the role
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

- Technical certifications or specialized training in pharmaceutical equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related disciplines
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance strategies and predictive maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of equipment automation systems, PLCs, and control systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
