We are looking for a Sales Associate to join us as we continue this journey and help us shape what the future of

modern jewellery can and should be.

Where we need your help

The Sales Associate role is an opportunity to represent Monica Vinader within one of Canada's leading luxury

destinations. Working alongside our Sales Lead and the Holt Renfrew team, you bring our world to life for every

client who visits our space. Your day blends meaningful client connection with commercial focus: welcoming and

styling clients with genuine warmth, sharing the stories behind our craftsmanship, and taking pride in the details

that make each visit feel effortless and memorable.

As an MV team member in a partner store, you are both a Brand Ambassador and a collaborative colleague to

the Holt Renfrew team. You uphold our standards while respecting theirs, and you take real ownership of your

goals and the experience you create.

This role also delivers Monica Vinader's signature in-store experiences. Engraving and permanent jewellery

welding are performed by you, on the floor, as part of every shift. They are a core requirement of the role, not an

add-on.

What you’ll do

Delivering Service Excellence & Clienteling

● Warmly welcome every client with open, positive energy and a heads-up approach, making each person feel genuinely at home

● Share expert product knowledge with elevated language and inspiring storytelling, bringing the MV

brand and our responsible craftsmanship to life

● Style clients confidently to find their perfect look, addressing questions with care and closing the sale

with confidence

● Create surprise-and-delight moments that build loyal, repeat relationships

● Capture client details accurately in the client book, following MV and Holt Renfrew data guidelines, and follow up with purpose

Driving Sales & Productivity

● Take ownership of your individual targets and contribute to shared store goals

● Proactively share client feedback, product insight and selling opportunities with your Sales Lead

● Support the planning and delivery of client and in-store events

In-Store Experiences | Engraving & Permanent Jewellery Welding

● Deliver engraving and permanent jewellery welding independently, to Monica Vinader standard, safely and consistently, as part of every shift

● Introduce both services naturally within the selling ceremony, using them to drive conversion, average

transaction value and repeat visits

● Follow all equipment, consumables and safety standards in line with MV and Holt Renfrew guidelines

● Support the delivery of aftercare services, including cleaning and repair intake

*Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Engraving and Welding Training will be offered as part of the onboarding process with the expectation that they will be mastered.

Partnering with Holt Renfrew

● Build positive, collaborative relationships with the Holt Renfrew team, top sellers and Department

Manager

● Share product knowledge and the MV standard of service with Holt Renfrew colleagues, supporting your Sales Lead on training

● Represent Monica Vinader professionally at all times, upholding both MV and Holt Renfrew standards

and policies Contributing to a High-Performing Team

● Be a positive presence in an inclusive, energetic and motivating team environment

● Communicate clearly and positively with your Sales Lead, the Holt Renfrew team and the wider MV

North America team

● Participate in ongoing training and development to grow your product knowledge and client experience skills

Upholding Operational Excellence

● Embody MV luxury standards in your presence, grooming, behaviour and communication

● Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness and presentation in line with company guidelines

● Support stock management, including processing shipments on the day they arrive and contributing to

accurate consigned stock counts

● Process payments, refunds and exchanges accurately, following Holt Renfrew company guidelines

● Flag stock discrepancies, operational issues or concerns to your Sales Lead promptly

Additional Requirements

● Ability to document your authorisation to work in Canada.

● Comfortable working a part-time retail schedule of 20 to 24 hours per week, including weekends,

evenings and peak trading periods.

Travel Requirements

This role is based 100% in store at Holt Renfrew. No travel is required.
