We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Application Technologist to drive product development, flavour innovation and application solutions (beverage and QSR) within the flavours and food ingredients industry.
The successful candidate will leverage extensive technical expertise to develop high-quality products, translate customer requirements into commercially viable solutions and provide end-to-end technical support throughout the product development and commercialisation process. Working closely with Sales, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing, this role plays a key part in strengthening customer relationships, securing new business opportunities and driving continuous innovation.
This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.
What You Will Do
- Agile Product Development: Lead the development of innovative beverage solutions for Industrial and QSR customers, across carbonated soft drinks, juices, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, dairy, and non-dairy products from concept through commercialization.
- Commercial & Technical Sales Support: Partner with Industrial and QSR customers and commercial teams to deliver technical solutions, lead ideation workshops, and provide hands-on support throughout product development and launch.
- Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy of formulations, specifications, product documentation, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and develop Beverage Application Technologists through coaching, project allocation, technical training, and performance development.
- Marketing Intelligence: Stay ahead of beverage trends, ingredient innovations, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and support business growth.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Act as a trusted beverage expert by leading customer seminars, technical presentations, innovation sessions, and new product development initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: 10+ years of beverage product development experience with proven expertise formulation, processing, ingredient functionality, and applications across carbonated drinks, juices, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, dairy, and non-dairy.
- Commercial Mindset: Strong customer-facing experience with a track record of translating market needs into winning product solutions, supporting new business development, and driving commercial growth through technical innovation.
- Leadership Style: Collaborative and results-oriented leader with experience mentoring technical teams, managing multiple priorities, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
