ABOUT THE MARKETING PROJECT SPECIALIST

The Marketing Project Specialist acts as the central project management backbone for the marketing team. Highly organized and detail-oriented, this individual ensures the seamless execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and new restaurant openings (NROs) from inception to completion. Serving as the primary liaison between cross-functional stakeholders—including Field and Lab Teams, internal specialists, and external print/creative partners—the Marketing Project Specialist translates strategic briefs into structured, actionable project plans, keeping projects on schedule, within scope, and aligned with core business objectives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

- Receive, review, and maintain a centralized repository of all marketing briefs. Critically evaluate briefs to identify missing information or feasibility issues (e.g., fast-approaching deadlines or budget mismatches) before translating them into structured projects and tasks in Asana.
- Hold kick-off meetings with project stakeholders, establish clear timelines, and coordinate with internal and external partners (e.g., print partners for production schedules, designers, copywriters) to distribute assets and execute promotions.
- Lead project kick-offs for NROs and task out specific deliverables in Asana, including signage, print materials, pre/post-open advertising, and digital assets.
- Actively track project timelines, monitor task completion across cross-functional stakeholders, clean/maintain Asana, and enforce accountability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, schedule necessary tactical/creative meetings, and provide proactive progress updates to ensure alignment between Field and Lab Teams.
- Continuously evaluate marketing project workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and generate status reports on timelines and deliverables.
- Support the marketing team by creating store comp cards, managing marketing materials, and scheduling key alignment sessions.
