About this role
Description
External Fulfilment runs the third-party fulfilment channels that let sellers and vendors ship directly from their own warehouses while giving customers an FBA-grade experience. The channel portfolio spans Seller Flex (SF), Vendor Flex (VF), Direct Fulfilment (DF), Warehouse Integration (WI), Stores Integration (SI) and Easy Ship. These channels carry a large share of unique selection, free up FC capacity for fast-moving selection, and operate at a lower cost to serve than in-FC fulfilment.
We are looking for a senior leader to own the fulfilment channel programs for SF, DF and WI, run flow control for the entire EF network, lead fulfilment operations for Amazon Business, and build the analytical backbone that supports all of the above. This is a broad, ambiguous, network-level mandate that sits at the intersection of operations, program management, product and finance. The role requires an owner who can set strategy, drive execution across cross-functional partners, and hold the bar on performance.
Key job responsibilities
1. Fulfilment channel programs: Own the end-to-end program charter for the Seller Flex, Direct Fulfilment and Warehouse Integration channels. This covers channel program and product strategy, network configuration and policy management. You will drive seller-experience initiatives across these channels and partner with 3P Business, product and tech teams on roadmap and launches.
2. Flow control for EF network: Own flow control across the entire EF network - managing the flow of packages through the transportation network, deploying seller caps and TCAP management to safeguard transportation capacity against surges and over-attainment, and collaborating with supply chain to minimise speed losses.
3. Amazon Business (B2B) fulfilment operations: Own the operations program for Amazon Business in India - the B2B delivery experience, cost, over-all DEX metrics and related programs. This workstream requires cross-org dependencies and leadership visibility involved, and partnership with the category and WW AB teams.
4. GenAI, Analytics and reporting: Build and own the GenAI charter for the entire team, analytical foundation for the above - WBR/MBR dashboards, P0 metric tracking, carrier-level breakdowns and program trackers. You will raise the robustness of analysis and move it beyond daily ops and coordination into decision-grade insight.
About the team
Your day starts with the health of the network - reading overnight P0 metrics and deciding where to act. Then you would prioritise SF, DF and WI program and product with 3P Business, product and tech partners. Then Amazon Business - DEX metrics, the AWIPL network and its escalations. Analytics runs through all of it: you build the data and bring decision-grade insight to weekly and monthly reviews. You partner across 3P Business, Finance, Tech/Product and the last-mile, middle-mile and sort-centre teams, serving customers, sellers and enterprise buyers alike.
