Job Description:

Job Title: Java Backend developer (2-5 years) Chennai

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

- Design and develop backend services using Java 8+, Spring boot & JUnit.

- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs.

- Integrate with Oracle/MongoDB and ensure performance and security.

- Ensure coding standards are followed

- Ensure collaboration, good rapport & teamwork with ISPL and Paris team members

Contributing Responsibilities

- Take ownership and commit towards quality deliverables within estimated timelines, avoiding global schedule shift

- Participate in code reviews and documentation process.

- Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices processes and code quality.

- Participation in projects meetings: fine-tuning, daily, retrospective.

- Collaboration with the team members: the ability to collect, analyze, synthesize and present information in a clear, concise and precise way

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

- Expert in Java 8+, Spring Boot

- Expert in RESTful API , Microservices & Design patterns

- Experience in Oracle / MongoDB

- Junit and Spring boot testing frameworks and code quality tools like Sonar

- Clean coding practices

- Maven, Gitlab CI and swagger tools

- Beginner/Intermediate in Angular

- Knowledge in Docker , Kubernetes

Specific Qualifications:

- Knowledge in UML, DevOps , IntelliJ, Gitlab (Pipeline CI/CD) , C loud O bject S torage , Kafka

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

Technical Skills:

- Java 8 and above

- Springboot

- Angular 14 and above

- Oracle

- MongoDB

Behavioral Skills:

- Ability to collaborate / Teamwork

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience Level: 2 to 5 years
