Why this role matters
AI only creates value when it lands where it matters: inside the products customers actually use. As Head of AI Solutions , you own the bridge between the osapiens AI platform and our business applications. You identify where AI can create meaningful impact, translate business challenges into technically viable AI solutions, and work closely with AI Engineering and application teams to bring those solutions into production.

This is not a traditional Product Management role. We are looking for someone with a strong technical understanding of modern AI technologies who can evaluate solution approaches, challenge technical concepts, and translate between business requirements and AI engineering.

This position follows a hybrid work model with a requirement to be in the office three times per week.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Own AI solution design: Translate business and product requirements into concrete AI solution concepts and define how capabilities from the AI platform can be integrated into our applications.
- Bridge AI Engineering and application teams: Act as the central technical interface between our AI platform and business application teams, coordinating the roll-in and roll-out of new AI capabilities.
- Evaluate technical approaches: Assess AI architectures, models, tools, and integration approaches together with our AI Engineers, considering feasibility, scalability, performance, and cost.
- Drive AI adoption: Identify high-impact use cases for technologies such as LLMs, RAG, AI agents, information extraction, and semantic search across our product portfolio.
- Measure and evolve AI solutions: Analyze usage, quality, performance, and cost of existing AI capabilities while continuously evaluating new technologies and market developments.

Your Experience

- Strong background in AI, software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting , ideally in an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
- Strong technical understanding of modern AI/LLM architectures , including concepts such as RAG, AI agents, vector search, embeddings, model APIs, and evaluation.
- Experience translating business challenges into technical solution designs and engineering requirements and working closely with AI/software engineering teams.
- Good understanding of software architectures, APIs, data flows, and the integration of AI capabilities into production software .
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences; fluent English, German is a plus.
