About this role
About the Role
If you are looking to kick start a career that is rewarding, where you can really make a difference, then come join our Nuclear Supply Chain graduate programme. You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects that our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
The Opportunity
Get ready to launch your career with our customised 2-year training programme! You will rotate through exciting placements that are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
You will learn from our experts, gain valuable experience, build your confidence and have the support of a career line manager and placement manager, mentor and buddy throughout your time on the programme.
You will gain exposure to procurement, contract management, forecasting, supplier development and strategic business challenges.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Nuclear Supply Chain Graduate at Sizewell C, you will gain hands-on experience, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that support the UK’s journey to net zero. These may include:
Supporting procurement and contract administration across our business areas.
Forecasting contract costs and managing supplier relationships.
Contributing to strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation.
Rotating across business areas to gain wider commercial insight.
Working on live projects that deliver tangible benefits to Sizewell C.
Your Work Location
Whilst you will be based at our Sizewell C office in London with placements of 6 – 12 months, you may also be required to travel to another location for your placements, to support other business units and to expand your knowledge and experience of the Nuclear Industry.
Please note that this programme is rotational in its nature, so you will be required to move around.
Who You Are
To be eligible for this Sizewell C graduate programme, you will need to have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, a Bachelor’s or Masters degree (2:2 or higher) in disciplines such as supply chain and logistics, business management, economics, mathematics, finance or geography. Other degrees may be considered for strong candidates.
You will need a professional outlook, commercial awareness, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

#Earlycareers
When joining Sizewell C, you may wonder why you are contacted by colleagues with an EDF email or see the EDF logo on portals that you access and/or documentation you receive; this is because we have partnered with EDF for the provision of a number of support services whilst we complete a successful transition out of the EDF group.
At Sizewell C we encourage and embrace diversity and how it can improve our experience and performance at work. It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK. Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility that we can explore, we are fully committed to local recruitment where possible, and those already holding the right to work in the UK.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
