The Role

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, commercial success and overall performance of a themed group of SaaS products. The role defines the product vision, 12-month roadmap, longer-term direction and measurable outcomes, ensuring the product group delivers a coherent, differentiated and commercially viable proposition for the construction and infrastructure market.

This is a senior product leadership role. It leads Product Owners, shapes hero features and minimum lovable product outcomes, uses market, competitor, client and technology insight to guide priorities, and represents the product group with senior internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

Strategy, Commercial Ownership & Market Leadership

- Own the vision, strategy, 12-month roadmap, longer-term direction and measurable outcomes for a themed SaaS product group, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business priorities, commercial goals and technology direction.

- Shape hero features, minimum lovable product outcomes, new product opportunities, adjacent propositions and scalable ecosystem growth, while ensuring Product Owners remain accountable for backlog definition and delivery readiness.

- Own commercial viability by ensuring roadmap decisions support revenue growth, retention, expansion, customer value and competitive differentiation.

- Work with commercial, sales, finance and leadership teams on pricing, packaging, charging models, business cases and options for new, premium and AI-enabled capabilities.

- Use market intelligence, competitor analysis, client discovery and product data to identify threats, gaps, differentiators and opportunities, and turn insight into strategy, positioning and commercial recommendations.

GTM, Customer Discovery, Ecosystem & AI

- Lead product input into go-to-market planning, including messaging, target segments, value propositions, launch narratives, sales enablement, demos and adoption communications.

- Engage clients, partners and industry stakeholders to understand pain points, adoption blockers and commercial opportunities across construction SaaS, CDE, information management, AI-enabled workflows and digital delivery.

- Ensure products work together effectively through cross-product integrations, shared capabilities, common data flows, reusable components and improved end-to-end customer journeys.

- Drive API, partner and ecosystem integration opportunities with architecture, engineering, data and platform teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and commercially viable.

- Champion AI-enabled opportunities such as automation, intelligent recommendations, data extraction, summarisation, predictive insight and assisted decision-making within construction and information management workflows.

Leadership, Governance & Delivery Alignment

- Line manage Product Owners by setting direction, coaching performance, supporting prioritisation and ensuring delivery remains aligned to strategy.

- Work with Project Managers to coordinate dependencies, releases, risks, resourcing and cross-team delivery planning.

- Contribute to Product Council, portfolio prioritisation, governance, best practice and peer review; report progress, roadmap status, risks, dependencies and blockers clearly and proactively.

Qualifications

- Strategic product management experience in SaaS, construction technology, infrastructure, CDE, BIM, information management, project delivery software or a related B2B technology environment.

- Ability to own product vision, product group strategy, 12-month roadmaps and longer-term plans across multiple related products.

- Strong commercial capability across pricing, packaging, charging models, business cases, adoption, revenue growth, retention, expansion and value realisation.

- Experience working with go-to-market, marketing, sales and customer success teams to launch products, shape positioning and drive adoption.

- Strong understanding of competitor analysis, market research, industry trends, product differentiation, Agile delivery, backlog governance, roadmap trade-offs, dependency management and distributed teams.

- Ability to lead Product Owners through clear direction, coaching, prioritisation guidance and product governance.

- Confident senior stakeholder communicator, able to present clearly to clients, executives, Product Council and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to identify ecosystem, API, partner, cross-product and AI-enabled opportunities that create customer and business value.

Desirable: Experience building product ecosystems, marketplaces, partner integrations or API-led platforms; understanding of ISO 19650, CDE workflows, construction information management and digital delivery standards; experience representing products externally, or leading competitor analysis, market intelligence or strategic discovery across multiple products.
