Apprentice Opportunity - New Howdens Depot Opening
We're excited to be opening a brand-new Howdens depot and are looking for talented individuals to join us as an Apprentice from January 2027 . This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team from the very beginning, helping to shape the success of our newest depot while building a rewarding career with the UK's Number 1 Trade Kitchen Supplier.

About the Apprenticeship
- Location: Skelmersdale Depot
- Salary: £16,686 plus team incentives
- Qualification: Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship
- Duration: 12-15 Months
- Support to achieve Maths & English (if needed)
- A dedicated mentor and supportive Depot Manager
- Staff discount, pension, and paid holidays
What you’ll be doing
Learning and developing alongside experienced colleagues in a leading business to:
- Manage and organise stock
- Support goods in and out of a busy warehouse
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Build relationships and support customers
- Developing confidence in a fast-paced depot environment

Apprenticeship Eligibility
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals looking to develop new skills and begin or progress their career in this area. As part of the apprenticeship funding rules, the programme must provide significant new learning. Therefore, applicants who already hold a qualification at the same or higher level in a closely related subject, or who can already demonstrate the majority of the knowledge and skills covered by the apprenticeship, may not be eligible.
