About this role

We at Yara are part of a global network, collaborating to profitably and responsibly solve some of the world's key challenges - resource scarcity, food insecurity and environmental change.

About the Unit

Our Marketing Specialist has taken on exciting new challenges, and we are therefore looking for her successor.

If you are passionate about B2B marketing and ready to help elevate Yara’s communication with the agricultural sector in Denmark across multiple channels, together with skilled and dedicated colleagues, then this position may be the perfect opportunity for you.

At Yara, we continuously develop our portfolio of high-end-quality fertilizers for Danish agriculture. At the same time, we are rapidly advancing the development and adoption of our strong digital solutions for professional farmers, enabling them to cultivate their fields as efficiently and responsibly as possible.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will become part of the Danish team, consisting of colleagues with marketing and agricultural (agronomic) backgrounds. Your role will be to drive and execute agreed marketing activities in Denmark in close collaboration with the team and ensure that our solutions are positioned as strongly as possible within Danish agriculture. Throughout the process, you will receive valuable support from our agronomists, who possess extensive agricultural expertise and can contribute a wealth of high-quality content for our communications. Together with the team, you will ensure professional and relevant communication and help us engage our target audiences effectively through newsletters, websites, social media channels, and more.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience, as we participate in a range of agricultural events throughout the year. In addition, we regularly visit progressive farmers, where we help tell their stories through professional videos, articles, and other content.

You will also take part in digital knowledge-sharing groups with colleagues across the Nordic and Baltic countries, where we exchange experiences and support one another in the development, execution, and follow-up of digital activities.

Responsibilities

- Develop, coordinate, and implement strong content, primarily digital, across platforms such as social media, newsletters, video, podcasts, and websites, including creation of campaign landing pages and ongoing maintenance and expansion of content in collaboration with our agronomists.

- Develop and implement marketing campaigns aligned with the farming calendar, as well as support other activities in cooperation with the Danish team.

- Continuously evaluate digital performance and adjust communications to ensure relevance for different farmer segments.

- Plan, coordinate and take active part in external events/fairs and be the point of contact during these.

- Coordinate digital initiatives with Danish, Nordic, and centrally based colleagues.

- Support tasks related to our CRM system (Salesforce) and maintain our Shopify webshop featuring a small number of niche products.

- Coordinate with external partners involved in the development and production of podcasts, videos, photo series, graphic design, SEO, Google Ads, and related activities.

Profile

- You hold a 3–5-year degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and have gained at least a couple of years of experience in a commercial environment. Alternatively, you may have an agricultural or journalism background combined with strong marketing and communication skills.

- You understand the importance of credible, commercial, and value-based communication centered on the target audience.

- You are familiar with the opportunities offered by the digital marketing toolbox and can translate various tools into compelling communication and effective digital campaigns.

- You work professionally with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and have a good understanding of Meta Business Suite.

- You have solid experience working with CMS platforms (Optimizely or similar) and understand how to develop engaging email flows (Marketo or similar), preferably integrated with data from our CRM system (Salesforce). Experience with CRM systems is therefore considered an advantage.

- You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Experience using AI tools in your marketing work is considered a plus.

- You are fluent in Danish and particularly strong in written communication. You are also proficient in English at a business level. Knowledge of other Nordic languages is an advantage.

- You thrive in a role with a broad range of stakeholders and see yourself as a true team player.

- You are naturally curious and not afraid to ask for help or bring forward new ideas.

- Preferably, you hold a valid Category B driving licence.

Additional Information

Your workplace will be our Danish headquarters in Fredericia, located right next to the Little Belt Bridge. In addition to the marketing and agronomy functions, the office is home to colleagues working in agricultural and industrial sales, finance, and HR.

As a company, we place great emphasis on creating a positive working environment, both physically and mentally. We enjoy a friendly and informal atmosphere, which is evident in our morning exercise sessions and coffee breaks. We also offer breakfast, lunch, and massage schemes.

Application and Employment

The Marketing Specialist position is a full-time role, with limited travel expected, primarily within Denmark.
