About this role
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body and paint repairs required.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labour, spare parts, materials, and painting costs.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals, quotations, and repair claims.
- Liaise with customers, service advisors, technicians, and parts teams to ensure smooth repair processing.
- Monitor repair estimates, follow up on approvals, and ensure accuracy in job cards and repair documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in automotive bodyshop estimation, preferably in a dealership.
- Knowledge of insurance claims and vehicle repair procedures.
- Experience with bodyshop estimating software and DMS is an advantage.Vehicle damage assessment and repair estimation.
- Knowledge of automotive bodywork and paint repairs.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and cost estimation accuracy.
- Computer skills and familiarity with estimating systems.
