About this role
Who We Are
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
What You'll Do
BCG's Global Business Intelligence & Analytics team builds the analytics products BCG's own
leadership uses to run the firm — monitoring performance, shaping commercial strategy,
allocating investment, and steering leadership initiatives. Your customers are internal: regional
and global function leaders, up to and including BCG's most senior executives.
As a Product and Delivery Owner, you will own a portfolio of BCG’s Performance Management
products end to end — from raw data through to the reporting interface — and lead the crossfunctional squad that builds them. You will set priorities with your BI&A Business Partners,
manage a demanding senior stakeholder pipeline, and make trade-offs between customer value,
cost, and speed of delivery clear and transparent for our stakeholders
• Own end-to-end product delivery for BI&A’s Pipeline and Client Product Portfolio —
Starting from non-conformed source data through ETL layer to the reporting UI —
holding the bar high on architecture quality, data quality, performance, and user
experience
• Set and manage the roadmap with your BI&A Business Partners, maintaining a
transparent, prioritized backlog where trade-offs are explicit and understood by
stakeholders
• Partner with executive stakeholders across regions and global functions to define a
coherent suite of Pipeline and Client management products — eliciting requirements,
facilitating design trade-offs, and setting clear delivery timelines and acceptance criteria
• Lead your squad through the full Agile cadence — sprint planning and reviews,
quarterly and annual business reviews — translating Tribe objectives into concrete
sprint goals and KPIs, and unblocking the team as an escalation point
• Manage resourcing and budget — directly line-managing your Functional Product
Analysts, working with Chapter Leads on technical resourcing, and running your Product
portfolio's budget in collaboration with the Tribe Leadership
• Raise your squad's AI fluency and output — set and maintain AI fluency standards
for the team. Build agents and tools that make both your squad and your internal
customers more effective and efficient
• Drive adoption. You will champion stakeholder adoption across BCG and foster a
culture of data-driven decision making and continuous business improvement
What You'll Bring
• 10+ years in Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Lead, or a comparable
leadership role, including clear experience delivering enterprise BI products at scale
• A track record of leading Agile teams, with deep command of Agile principles and
practice
• Proven ability to lead a technology-enabled and enterprise-level Business, Digital or
Organizational transformation
• Hands-on depth in front-end reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP
BusinessObjects
• Familiarity with data warehousing tools and concepts, including transformation logic
and end-to-end data flows
• High AI fluency, both as a practitioner and as a leader introducing new ways of
working
Who You'll Work With
• Your Squad — as their leader and coach, you will create the conditions for the team
to do its best work
• BI&A Business Partners — who manage BI&A's key internal relationships and
surface strategic business needs
• Internal customers — Translating BCG executives and global function leader’s
voice and needs into actionable deliverables for our squad
• Tribe Leaders — who will set the vision, roadmap, budget, and priorities & OKRs for
the tribes and subsequently, for the squads
• Scrum Masters — who will help clear obstacles and support you with the Agile
artifacts and ceremonies
• Fellow Product and Delivery Owners — to share best practices, contribute to a
cohesive culture and ensure alignment between squads
• Agile Coaches — who, like you, are passionate about Agile ways of working and
with whom you will promote business agility, both within your teams and across the
organization
