About this role
We are looking for an experienced regional Recruitment Partner to be based in Budapest and own end-to-end talent acquisition for VELUX internationally across the CEE region (15 countries) for specialist, technical and leadership roles — including sales, marketing, engineering, finance, and other corporate support functions.
In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and HR Business Partners, drive proactive sourcing strategies, and strengthen VELUX's employer brand. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, from intake through pre-onboarding, and partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles and realistic market expectations.
A key part of the role will be building and maintaining proactive pipelines for critical and recurring profiles, mapping the regional talent landscape and competitor benchmarks, and sharing market intelligence with HR and business leaders.
Your future team
You will report directly to a manager based in Budapest and work alongside colleagues located in different countries across the region. As part of a globally connected organization, you will collaborate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and different HR stakeholders from different sites, functions, and cultures, and contribute to global/regional TA projects, including process standardization, assessment tools, and DE&I initiatives.
If you are passionate about talent acquisition, stakeholder partnership, and making a measurable impact across an international organization, this could be the opportunity for you.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for specialist, managerial and leadership positions, from intake through pre-onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles and realistic market expectations
- Run structured, competency-based interviews aligned with the VELUX values
- Build and maintain proactive pipelines for critical and recurring profiles
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, job boards and university partnerships
- Map the regional talent landscape and competitor benchmarks; share market intelligence with HR and business leaders
- Coach hiring managers on inclusive interviewing, assessment calibration, and selection decisions
- Partner with different HR stakeholders on workforce planning, compensation, employer branding, data management and critical hires
- Contribute to global/regional TA projects (process standardization, assessment tools, DE&I initiatives)
- Mentor junior recruiters or recruitment coordinators if relevant
- Maintain accurate data in the ATS and report on main TA KPIs
- Ensure full compliance with labor law, GDPR, and VELUX global recruitment standards and policies
Your qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, primarily in-house, in a multinational environment (agency or RPO experience is a plus)
- Proven experience hiring professional, specialist and managerial roles across different countries
- Strong direct sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, X-ray)
- Experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience with structured interviewing and assessment-based selection is an advantage
- A business partner mindset: a trusted advisor within and outside the TA team
- Structured, data-informed, and outcomes-driven
- Strong ownership and comfort operating with autonomy across multiple parallel searches
- Collaborative and culturally aware — able to work seamlessly with colleagues on a global level
- Genuine curiosity about people, and a belief that great hiring shapes the future of the company
- Fluent Hungarian and English; any additional language knowledge is a plus
What we offer:
we offer a senior, high-impact role in a purpose-driven, Scandinavian family-owned global company, a supportive team environment, and a culture built on trust and fairness.
In addition, you will enjoy:
