Job description:

We are looking for a responsible and resourceful Delivery Driver / Fulfillment Coordinator to package and distribute our exceptional products promptly and correctly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will be overseeing the daily packaging of assorted coffee bags, while maintaining company product standards and completing production operations in a timely manner. Applicants should have a healthy level of confidence, and demonstrate a willingness to work hard for sustained periods. Additionally, an ideal employee will practice good communication skills, be organized, detail oriented, trustworthy, and be committed to doing whatever it takes to exceed our customers’ expectations of quality.

Duties also include the daily organizing and distribution of our clients’ orders. We are looking for a self-starter with a keen attention to detail and “can do” attitude, who is eager to join our close-knit team and excited to work in this fun industry. This full-time position is crucial to the success of our company and to maintaining our brand recognition and fulfillment commitments. Plus, all the delicious coffee you can drink!

Schedule and Pay

- Monday - Friday, approximately 6:00am - 3:00pm
- Hourly pay at $21 per hour, plus full health, dental, and vision insurance available, and lunch. Paid vacation time and retirement packages are available after 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities:

- Delivering a wide variety of goods to our local customers, including packaged coffee boxes, allied goods (cups, paper products, various packaged milks, teas and syrups) and refrigerated cold brew kegs.
- Following daily delivery driving routes and time schedules.
- Preparing and organizing delivery orders, while loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicles. Company vehicles are provided, and maintaining those vehicles is part of the job (oil changes and regular maintenance, car washes, general upkeep, etc.)
- Collect payments and/or signed invoices
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Complete all delivery logs and record delivery confirmations
- Building rapport with customers, and getting feedback on provided services and resolving clients’ immediate issues
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Generate daily stickers and label coffee bags properly, fill different sized bags with specific measurements of various coffees, and seal, fold, and package bags according to company standards
- Correctly and effectively package outgoing customer orders based upon sales orders/packing slips
- Meet daily deadlines for outgoing packages, including delivery orders, preparing outbound shipments, and staging packages for customer pick-up
- Receive inbound warehouse deliveries
- Stock, organize, and count inventory for distribution, including storing and rotating of goods
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, warehouse, production area, workspace, and facility in general, and complete all required cleaning checklists
- Assess daily production needs
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

- Being reliable, positive, detailed-oriented, out-going, having excellent communication skills, and a neat and professional appearance are attributes of an ideal candidate.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate delivery vans, operate pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts (if licensed) in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for several hours per day
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Professional Delivery Driver and/or warehouse experience is ideal, but not required.
- High school degree or equivalent

Physical Demands:

- Very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects: Must be able to regularly lift full buckets of coffee weighing 15 to 30 lbs overhead.
- Requires the ability to stand and walk the production floor for most, if not all, of the work day. ● Regularly requires bending, squatting, sitting, and competent arm and hand motion. Stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and other repetitive physical motions are necessary.
- Regularly required to see, hear, taste, smell and talk.
- The employee is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 90 degrees for periods of more than one hour. The employee is subject to heat, noise, hazards, dust, and organic materials.

- Be familiar with our clientele, delivery routes, package pick-up schedules, and Greater Nashville delivery area.
