- Communicate effectively throughout the duration of testing to ensure personnel and equipment safety
- Develop foundational troubleshooting skills by comparing observed symptoms, equipment data, alarm information, and expected operating conditions under the guidance of senior technicians
- Assist in identifying affected equipment systems and documenting the conditions under which a symptom occurs
- Demonstrate curiosity and active participation by asking relevant technical questions and following assigned diagnostic activities through completion
- Assist with test lane setup and teardown for E‑Fleet pumps and blenders, including barricades, housekeeping, and equipment staging.
- Support grounding activities, cable routing, iron rig‑up, and test preparation as directed, without performing critical electrical connections
- Perform de‑energized visual inspections of E‑Fleet equipment (doors, covers, labels, interlocks, visible leaks or damage) and report findings.
- Observe generator and switchgear preparation while maintaining prescribed safety distances
- Assist with controls and software connectivity verification as directed
- Support load testing activities by monitoring gauges, alarms, visuals, and test conditions and communicating observations to senior QA staff

- Assist with managing work orders, uploads, and documentation while maintaining data integrity and traceability
- Prepare and distribute test result summaries and scope‑of‑work communications using supervisor‑approved formats
- Check and respond to work‑related email correspondence daily
- Participate in required training related to QA/QC processes, diagnostic tools, E‑Fleet testing awareness, LOTO principles, and electrical safety fundamentals
- Engage cross‑functionally with other departments to support QA objectives and personal skill development
- Work alongside senior QA personnel and equipment operators to gain exposure and progress within the Quality Technician career ladder
- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness and organization of the QA Test Facility, including lanes, tools, iron, and safety equipment
- Be available to support QA operations during staffing shortages or special operational commitments
- Actively pursue qualification across conventional QA, QC inspection, E-Fleet support, diagnostic software, documentation, and specialized Test Facility work areas
- Accept work assignments across Test Facility functions based on workload and development needs
- Quality Technicians are expected to support work across Test Facility functions according to training, demonstrated competency, authorization, workload, and operational priority. Assignment to a particular equipment type, test area, or activity does not create an exclusive or permanent specialty
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
