Chief of Staff (m/f/d)

At Moonfare, we are leading a new era of private equity investing. We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to join our executive team at a pivotal moment in our growth. Reporting directly to the co-CEO, this highly strategic role sits at the intersection of strategy, business management, and leadership, driving Moonfare’s most critical initiatives, from embedding AI across the business to guiding our transformation into a premier Asset Manager. This is a hands-on role: you’ll move from advising on strategy to delivering it yourself, rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.

You will:

- Lead and coordinate high-priority, company-wide initiatives from conception to execution

- Prepare and orchestrate the bi-weekly ExCo run and change meetings

- Drive and project manage strategic priorities including Moonfare’s evolution into an Asset Manager

- Act as a trusted advisor to the co-CEOs and ExCo, applying first-principles thinking and analytical rigor to structure complex challenges and deliver actionable insights

- Shape and manage the executive operating rhythm: leadership offsites, board preparation, and critical business reviews

- Support board, investor, and partner engagements, ensuring clear, compelling communication of Moonfare’s strategy and progress

- Serve as a connector across departments and geographies, enabling alignment and seamless execution of Moonfare’s vision

The next Moonfarian:

- Minimum of 3–4 years of significant experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or senior strategic leadership role

- Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic, complex environments

- Exceptional problem-solving skills, combining first-principles thinking with a highly analytical, data-driven approach

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with the gravitas to influence at all levels

- Background in financial services, asset management, or FinTech is advantageous but not required
