What You'll Be Doing
- Inspect, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry processing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities to support safe and reliable plant operations.
- Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment in a heavy manufacturing, mining, or aggregate environment.
- Working knowledge of conveyors, crushers, pumps, hydraulic systems, and mobile or stationary plant equipment.
- Ability to safely perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and mechanical repair tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, equipment drawings, and repair procedures.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
