The R&D Analytical Chemist Intern develops broad analytical expertise across multiple technologies. The Analytical Chemist Intern contributes to impactful projects supporting global brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our R&D Analytical Chemist Trainee, you will support the development, optimization, and execution of analytical methods for a wide range of cosmetic products and raw materials.

Working with techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, and ED-XRF, you will generate and interpret analytical data, contribute to validation and transfer studies, participate in technical investigations, and communicate findings to project teams.

Your main focus :

- Participate in the development and optimization of analytical methods.

- Perform analyses on different types of samples (raw materials, finished products, etc.).

- Process and interpret analytical data.

- Participate in method validation and transfer studies.

- Contribute to technical investigations in the event of non-compliant or out-of-specification results.

- Draft protocols, test reports, and related technical documentation.

- Present results during project follow-up meetings.

Depending on ongoing projects, the analytical techniques used may include: HPLC and/or UPLC with UV detection, GC-FID, Headspace GC-MS, ED-XRF, titrimetric analysis, and other analytical techniques as required .

YOU ARE A COTY FIT FOR THIS POSITION

You like to thrive in a hands-on laboratory environment, taking ownership of projects while learning, developing, and optimizing analytical techniques.

As an experienced R&D Analytical Chemist Intern you have technical curiosity, a good team spirit and scientific rigor through real projects and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.

Other than that, you:

- Are engineering or Master’s student (Bac+5) in Analytical Chemistry or related field

- Are looking for a final-year internship in skin biology or life sciences

- Have some initial laboratory experience (Liquid and/or Gaz Chromatography)

- Are curious, rigorous and excited to learn Analytical Chemistry

- Are able to read and understand English scientific content
