Job Summary
The Winter Intern will collaborate with technical staff to support special projects, data entry, maintenance, and day-to-day operations. This role provides an opportunity to apply engineering principles and classroom knowledge to practical, real-world projects during the winter academic break. Through hands-on experience, the intern will gain valuable technical skills, contribute to ongoing project initiatives, and develop a deeper understanding of professional engineering practices and operational processes.
Job Description
- Assist in Management of Change process, developing and implementing new ideas and initiatives
- Maintain plant housekeeping and security
- Assist in the development of standard operational procedures as assigned
- Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks, routine Preventative Maintenance, and inspections and troubleshooting as assigned
- Assist with operational and mechanical activities to maximize plant availability and reliability
- Complete required plant training
- Perform other projects as assigned
