GM Automotive Technician

Coughlin Chillicothe GM is seeking to hire an experienced full-time GM Automotive Technician/Mechanic along with motivation to continue their training and ASE certifications for a successful career.

Responsibilities:

- Determine and repair damaged parts

- Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts

- Document all repairs performed

- Document all materials used

- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner

- Follow all company safety procedures

- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Qualifications and Skills:

- Automobile repair experience

- Knowledge of methods, materials and tools in vehicle repair and maintenance

- Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer preferred

- Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests

- Completed manufacturer training to perform warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI's, maintenance, and minor repairs

- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
