Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Analyst to support
enterprise-wide hardware asset operations, asset lifecycle management, and CMDB data
quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT teams, asset owners, and
business stakeholders to maintain accurate hardware asset records, resolve asset-related
issues, and support governance processes within ServiceNow and CMDB environments.
This role is ideal for professionals with foundational IT support, IT operations, asset
management, or ServiceNow experience who are looking to build expertise in Enterprise
Hardware Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Management Operations
• Monitor and resolve Hardware Asset Management (HAM) requests, incidents, and
inquiries.
• Manage hardware asset lifecycle activities, including ownership validation and
inventory tracking.
• Support asset governance initiatives and process compliance activities.
• Ensure asset inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
CMDB & Data Quality
• Investigate incomplete, inaccurate, or missing asset records within CMDB.
• Perform routine asset data validation, reconciliation, and quality reviews.
• Coordinate with asset owners and support teams to correct data discrepancies.
• Maintain asset lifecycle integrity and data consistency across systems.
ServiceNow Administration & Support
• Process and resolve ServiceNow requests related to hardware assets.
• Research and analyze asset-related incidents and service requests.
• Escalate complex issues to senior analysts or asset management specialists when
required.
• Support testing activities and process enhancement initiatives within ServiceNow.
Reporting & Documentation
• Document findings, remediation actions, and asset management procedures.
• Maintain process documentation and team knowledge repositories.
• Generate and support asset management reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and compliance-related data requests.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with infrastructure, support, operations, and cybersecurity teams.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to improve asset visibility and ownership
tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across Hardware Asset Management
processes.
