- Design the future-state ETF operating model across the full servicing lifecycle , including fund launch/onboarding, fund accounting, administration, basket processing, creation/redemption activity, reconciliation, reporting and client servicing.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, predictive analytics and exception-based processing to reduce manual intervention and improve scalability, accuracy and responsiveness.
- Partner closely with Technology and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements definition, process design, prioritization, testing, implementation and ongoing platform enhancement.
- Establish an integrated data and workflow strategy that improves visibility into operational activity, exceptions, controls, service levels and client interactions.
- Help design a differentiated digital client experience , providing clients with greater transparency into activity, workflows, reporting, service requests and operational insights.
- Drive standardization and simplification of ETF processes, challenging legacy practices and avoiding the replication of unnecessary manual processes in the new environment.
- Partner with Business Development and relationship teams to support RFPs, client presentations, prospect discussions and demonstrations of the ETF platform and servicing model .
- Maintain senior-level relationships with clients and use client feedback, market developments and competitive intelligence to influence platform priorities and product development.
- Develop the business case and investment roadmap for transformation initiatives, including expected improvements in scalability, operational efficiency, controls, client experience and growth capacity.
- Establish governance, milestones, success measures and executive reporting for major ETF transformation and platform-development initiatives.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance and other control functions to ensure appropriate controls and regulatory requirements are embedded directly into the platform and future-state operating model.
- Partner with business leadership to support the profitability, growth and strategic direction of the ETF business and ensure technology investments align with business priorities.
- Build organizational capabilities required for the future-state ETF model, including talent, processes, governance and new ways of working across business and technology teams.
- Maintain a strong understanding of developments across the ETF ecosystem, asset-servicing technology landscape and evolving client requirements to ensure the platform remains competitive and forward-looking.
