About this role
Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Internal Enablement to be the connective tissue between new tools, new AI capabilities, creating value from existing tools, and the marketing and communications teams who use them every day.
This role owns the full enablement lifecycle: bringing new tools online, making them easy and intuitive to use, training teams on AI capabilities as they emerge, looking for new use cases for existing tools, and continuously scanning the market for what leading organizations are doing so we never fall behind. You'll partner directly with our business leaders, technology and platform partners to understand their roadmaps and translate new capabilities into real adoption inside our organization.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You won't manage people, but you'll have significant scope, autonomy, and visibility to shape how hundreds of marketers and communicators experience the tools they rely on to do their jobs.
Key Responsibilities
Tool onboarding & rollout
- Own end-to-end onboarding for new tools and platforms, from initial rollout plan through to steady-state adoption.
- Build rollout playbooks, quick-start guides, and role-based learning paths so every new tool lands with minimal friction.
- Partner with MarTech, IT, and platform vendors to plan releases, migrations, and go-live timelines.
User experience & adoption
- Continuously evaluate how teams actually use our tools and identify friction points, confusion, or underused features.
- Simplify workflows and documentation so tools feel intuitive rather than burdensome.
- Gather structured feedback from users and turn it into concrete process, training, or tooling improvements.
AI capability training & fluency
- Design and deliver training on new AI capabilities as they roll out, translating technical capabilities into practical, everyday use cases for marketers and communicators.
- Build a scalable enablement model, including training sessions, office hours, quick reference guides, and an internal knowledge base, so AI fluency compounds across the organization.
- Identify high-friction workflows where AI can create the most impact, and pilot new use cases with early-adopter teams.
Partner capability & industry intelligence
- Build and maintain close working relationships with our key technology partners to understand their product roadmaps ahead of release.
- Track how leading technology and AI companies structure enablement, onboarding, and adoption programs, and bring the best of what you find back into our own model.
- Represent our organization in partner briefings, beta programs, and early-access opportunities.
Continuous improvement
- Measure adoption, usage, and satisfaction across tools and training programs, and report out on trends and gaps.
- Recommend and pilot new approaches to enablement based on data, direct feedback, and external best practice.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in enablement, learning and development, technical training, or operations at a technology or high-growth organization.
- Direct experience rolling out tools or platforms and driving adoption across a large, distributed user base.
- Hands-on comfort with modern AI tools such as LLMs, AI assistants, and agentic workflows, and genuine curiosity about how they apply to real work.
- Strong instincts for user experience. You notice friction before users complain about it.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, comfortable running live training and writing clear documentation.
- Curiosity about the broader technology and AI landscape, with a habit of translating outside best practice into practical internal action.
Preferred Qualifications
- A builder’s mindset, equally comfortable designing a strategy and writing the first version of a quick-start guide yourself.
