About this role
The successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of the business, from rearing young calves through to finishing Friesian bulls for slaughter at approximately two years of age. The role also involves working across our tillage operation, with responsibilities including crop establishment, maintenance and harvest.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with excellent stockmanship, strong machinery skills and a genuine interest in livestock and crop production.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on a beef, dairy or calf-rearing farm.
- Excellent calf-rearing and stockmanship skills.
- Strong understanding of cattle nutrition, health and welfare.
- Experience identifying and treating common livestock health issues.
- Competent tractor and machinery operator.
- Experience with tillage operations and crop production.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily tasks.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
