Housing Inspector / Housekeeper II

Amentum is seeking a Housing Inspector/ Housekeeper II to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas  to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Keep accurate record of all inspections and daily paperwork

- Inspect all guest rooms after checkout is perform by housekeepers
- Inspect every vacant room weekly and report any finding to front desk
- Inspect and call in all rooms to front desk before room is issued to guest check in
- Inspect all rooms after housekeepers perform a deep cleaning in a room
- Performs as a trainer for all Housekeepers within Housing
- Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas as needed
- Ensure housekeepers follow all departmental standards and procedures
- Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like maintenance issues
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies keep track for all replacement and requirement
- Ensure all facilities and common areas are clean and maintained.
- Notifying front desk of necessary repairs.
- Write up and issue out all work assignments for housekeeping staff
- Keep accurate record of all inspections and daily paperwork
- keep record of all linen rooms inventory Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.
- 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules
- Must be able to write
