About this role
Join a team at the forefront of regulatory programs and transformation, where you’ll help drive effective execution, strengthen ongoing monitoring, and support initiatives that enhance a strong risk and control environment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams, provide meaningful insights, and contribute to programs that support sustainable business practices and regulatory commitments.
As an Associate on the Regulatory Program and Transformation Monitoring Team, you will support the development, execution, and ongoing management of regulatory monitoring solutions. You will help produce oversight reporting, identify and escalate observations, coordinate follow-up activities, and support enhancements to processes, controls, reporting, and governance.
In addition to monitoring responsibilities, you will support regulatory programs and projects across the broader team. You will apply foundational project-management disciplines to help organize work, track deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, identify risks and dependencies, and communicate progress. The role is well suited for someone who has basic project-management experience, demonstrates strong organizational and follow-through skills, and is interested in developing the capabilities necessary to independently manage projects or workstreams over time.
Job Responsibilities:
Regulatory Monitoring and Oversight
- Support regulatory monitoring activities by developing an understanding of the processes, procedures, controls, and technology established to meet regulatory requirements.
- Partner with monitoring owners and key stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, controls, and other monitoring solutions intended to identify potential breaks or weaknesses in regulatory frameworks.
- Analyze data and business processes to identify trends, themes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate observations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting that enables senior management and control partners to oversee the health and effectiveness of regulatory operating models.
- Identify and escalate monitoring observations, coordinate follow-up activities, and track items through resolution.
- Support or execute remediation and corrective-action activities, as needed.
- Participate in monitoring lifecycle activities and governance checkpoints, applying process-improvement, organizational-design, change-management, communication, and training strategies where appropriate.
- Draft and maintain procedures, job aids, process documentation, and training materials that support team-owned monitoring activities.
- Organize and maintain the roadmap of monitoring needs, adapting to changing priorities and emerging regulatory or business requirements.
- Support records-management responsibilities and serve as an alternate for designated records-management activities.
Regulatory Project Support
- Support regulatory programs, projects, and workstreams based on team priorities and evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, trackers, action logs, decision logs, and other project-management materials.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and supporting materials, document key decisions and action items, and follow up with stakeholders to help ensure commitments are completed.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and outstanding decisions, escalating concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Prepare clear, concise project updates and status reporting for project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Coordinate across business, functional, and control partners to gather information, resolve open items, and maintain progress against agreed-upon objectives.
- Apply established project-management methodologies, governance practices, and tools while developing an understanding of the approaches that are most effective for the team.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, organization, judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through in managing assigned activities.
- Take increasing ownership of project deliverables and workstreams, with the goal of independently managing projects or defined bodies of work as experience and capabilities develop.
- Embrace ambiguity, respond constructively to changing priorities, and help establish structure and clarity where processes or requirements are still evolving.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
