PrideStaff Financial is partnering with an established organization looking for a Senior Lease Accountant who enjoys both the technical and analytical sides of accounting. This role offers a nice mix of lease accounting, financial reporting and special projects, with opportunities to work across departments and improve existing processes.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable taking ownership of their work and enjoys having a variety of responsibilities.

### What You'll Be Doing
Oversee day-to-day lease accounting activities, including new leases, renewals, modifications and terminations Maintain lease schedules, prepare journal entries and complete monthly reconciliations in accordance with ASC 842 Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting, including gathering information, validating data and preparing supporting reports Prepare additional financial and operational reports for internal stakeholders Work with different departments to collect information, research discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Look for opportunities to streamline reporting, improve processes and strengthen internal controls Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed

### What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong general accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting Working knowledge of ASC 842 and lease accounting Experience preparing or supporting ESG reporting is a plus Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or reporting systems Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently Someone who is analytical, organized and enjoys digging into the details
