Job Description
White's Auto Mall CDJR is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Automotive Detailer to join our team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the smallest details, and understands what it takes to make a vehicle look showroom-ready.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 5 years of professional automotive detailing experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
- Buff, polish, and wax vehicles to restore and maintain paint finishes.
- Perform paint correction and remove minor surface imperfections.
- Shampoo carpets, clean upholstery, and condition leather interiors.
- Clean engines, wheels, tires, and vehicle exteriors.
- Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for retail delivery.
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure dealership quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Properly operate and maintain detailing equipment and supplies.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive detailing experience REQUIRED.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be able to meet dealership vehicle insurance requirements.
- Experience with machine buffing, polishing, and paint correction.
- Strong knowledge of professional detailing chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, standing, and lifting.
- Must maintain consistent quality and productivity.
