About this role

Your Team Responsibilities

The Americas Wealth Management coverage team is responsible for developing new revenue across the wealth market and for growing and retaining MSCI’s existing wealth clients. Our prospects include RIAs, independent broker-dealers, enterprise wealth managers, fintech platforms, and private banks. We are accountable for building a qualified pipeline in our assigned territories, for making sure clients get measurable value from what they have bought, and for carrying what we learn from clients back to Product, Marketing, and Data so MSCI’s wealth offering stays aligned with what the market needs.

Your Key Ressponsibilities

- Business development: Prospect across the full range of wealth firms, from emerging fintechs and RIAs to large enterprise platforms and private banks. Build prioritized target account lists and account attack plans for each territory and segment.

- Discovery and qualification: Research each account’s technology stack, investment process, and gaps in analytics, risk, or private asset capabilities. Hold discovery conversations with CIOs, heads of investments, product and technology leaders, and home office teams. Qualify opportunities on stakeholders, use case, competition, and timing, then hand them to Sales with a clear path to close.

- Pipeline and quota: Deliver quarterly targets for qualified opportunities and pipeline generated, and keep Salesforce records accurate and current.

- Client coverage and growth: Build long-term relationships with investment, home office, and technology teams through proactive outreach, portfolio consultations, and market insight. Drive adoption of MSCI Wealth Solutions, identify expansion across teams and platforms, and support renewals by showing value after the sale.

- Cross-functional work: Partner with Marketing, Product, Data, and Sales on go-to-market plans, campaigns, and events, and turn client and market feedback into input for product direction and competitive positioning.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

- Business development instincts: 5+ years in outbound prospecting, business development, or client coverage, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or financial services, with a record of hitting targets. The candidate should show a self-starter’s urgency in opening new doors.

- Wealth market knowledge: Working knowledge of wealth management, private banking, or the advisor technology landscape, including portfolio management, proposal generation, and reporting platforms. Familiarity with private markets and alternatives in wealth portfolios is a strong plus.

- Senior stakeholder engagement: Comfort engaging CIOs and other sophisticated buyers, and the ability to translate technical analytics into business value.

- Client-centric execution: A track record of understanding the needs of external clients and internal stakeholders, then making sure the work serves those needs.

- Quality and judgment: Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management, with the discipline to deliver projects on time and to apply good judgment when using AI and data.

- Continuous improvement: Curiosity about better ways of working, practical suggestions for process improvements, and willingness to test new AI-enabled approaches.

- Collaboration and networks: A team player with a “company first” mindset who communicates effectively across Marketing, Product, Data, and Sales, and who builds networks beyond the immediate team.

- Integrity and inclusion: Direct and assertive while still building lasting relationships, open to different perspectives, and supportive of colleagues.

- Salesforce proficiency: Experience maintaining pipeline and activity records in Salesforce is a plus
