Data Engineer

Are you a Data Engineer who enjoys building reliable data solutions that create business value and exploring how AI can help you work smarter?

At Curamando, you'll work directly with clients, develop your technical skills and solve real business problems through data. As part of our Data Foundation team, you'll design and build data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting and AI. We work with clients across different industries, including brands like McDonald's and IKEA. We're also increasingly helping clients build the data foundations needed for AI solutions, making data reliable, well-structured and accessible to use in production.

As a Data Engineer, you'll take ownership of your work and collaborate closely with clients and experienced colleagues across Curamando and Eidra, often working together on site.

What you'll do

- Design and implement modern cloud-based data platforms
- Build and maintain scalable, cost-efficient data pipelines, integrating different data sources into data warehouses and lakehouses
- Prepare and structure data for analytics, reporting and AI applications
- Automate and optimise data workflows using orchestration and CI/CD
- Use and explore AI tools for development, debugging and automation as part of your daily work
- Ensure data quality through testing, monitoring and alerting
- Work with infrastructure as code to manage cloud resources
- Contribute to technical discussions and take ownership of workstreams in close collaboration with clients and colleagues across Curamando and Eidra

Who you are

We believe you're a good fit if you:

- Have a couple of years’ experience building, deploying and maintaining end-to-end data solutions in cloud environments
- Already use AI tools in your daily work and are curious about new ways to apply them
- Have a solid understanding of core data engineering concepts and practices
- Have good skills in Python and SQL
- Enjoy collaborating with others and solving problems together
- Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Are based in Stockholm or open to relocating here

The recruitment process

- Introduction: A first conversation of around 45 minutes to discuss your experience, motivations and what you're looking for.
- Technical interview and case: You'll complete and present a short take-home case, focusing on your data engineering skills and how you communicate your approach.
- Team meet and greet: An optional opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and get a feel for everyday life at Curamando and Eidra.
