About the Role
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with strong visual instincts, thoughtful craft, and the ability to turn a brief into clear, compelling creative. You’ll join Vivint’s Brand & Digital Design team and work with designers, copywriters, and marketing partners to bring advertising, brand campaigns, digital experiences, and customer communications to life.
You’ll contribute ideas, build thoughtful layouts, and carry projects through revisions and final production. The ideal designer is comfortable working within an established brand while finding opportunities to make the work feel fresh, useful, and cohesive.
What You'll Do
- Design advertising and marketing creative across digital and customer marketing, including paid media, social, email, customer communications, and digital and print campaigns.
- Develop creative for broader brand and advertising initiatives, including campaign concepts, web graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Translate creative briefs and messaging into clear visual concepts, layouts, and finished designs.
- Adapt creative across channels, sizes, and formats while maintaining consistent typography, color, imagery, and hierarchy.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketing partners, and other designers to align creative with audience needs and project goals.
- Apply Vivint’s brand guidelines and contribute to reusable templates and design patterns that make recurring work more efficient.
- Present work clearly, incorporate feedback thoughtfully, and communicate progress and dependencies.
- Prepare organized files and production-ready assets; check details, consistency, and accuracy before handoff.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines with support from the design team.
Minimum Qualifications
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong typography, layout, composition, and brand application across digital and print work.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional graphic design experience, including in-house, agency, or freelance work, with the ability to take assigned projects from brief through final delivery.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Proficiency with generative AI tools to explore concepts, create and refine imagery and other creative assets, and integrate outputs into polished, on-brand advertising.
- An understanding of designing for different formats and channels, including responsive digital layouts and print production.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance visual quality with clear communication.
- A collaborative approach, openness to feedback, and the ability to explain your design decisions.
- Good organization, time management, and communication skills.
- A college degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional design experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
- No professional certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing integrated advertising campaigns across paid media, social, email, web, or print.
- Experience working with brand systems, component libraries, or reusable creative templates.
- Basic motion design or animation skills.
- Experience partnering with digital marketing, Customer Marketing, or an in-house creative team.
Portfolio
Please include a portfolio with your application. We’d like to see examples of your design craft, how you apply a brand across different formats, and the role you played in the work.
