Class 2 ADR Driver
Location: Wrexham
Hours: Monday to Friday ( 04:00 - 14:00 - Times may vary due to collections)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking to recruit a Class 2 (Category C) ADR Driver to join our team at our Wrexham site. This Monday to Friday role offers excellent job security, regular hours, and the opportunity to be part of a friendly and supportive team.
As a Class 2 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for collecting medical waste from our customers and transporting it safely back to our Wrexham facility for treatment. This is a hands-on role that involves loading and unloading containers using a tail lift and completing cart exchanges at customer sites.
- Collecting medical waste from customer locations across designated routes
- Loading and unloading waste containers using the vehicle tail lift
- Carrying out cart exchanges at customer premises
- Ensuring all collections are completed safely, efficiently, and compliantly
- Completing all required transport and compliance documentation
- Returning collected waste to the Wrexham treatment facility
Do you have what it takes?
- Holds a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
- Has no more than 6 penalty points
- Holds a current Driver CPC qualification
- Possesses a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Comfortable with manual handling duties
- Has a positive attitude and strong commitment to safety and compliance
- ADR Licence would be advantageous, however, training may be provided
