About this role
As the China Finance Director reporting directly to the Senior Director of APAC Finance, you will lead the financial planning and commercial finance for CVI in China and provide guidance to the Controlling team when necessary. This role is instrumental in delivering forward-looking insights, optimizing opex allocation, and enabling agile, data-driven decision-making. You will partner closely with the China leadership team to support strategic initiatives and drive business performance in alignment with CooperVision’s global and regional values and growth ambitions. A strong leader and collaborator cross functions and between country and region, with the ability to work under pressure in a complex environment. This role is also a key member of the APAC Finance leadership team and will have exposure to the global finance leadership team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience, including FP&A and commercial finance, within a multinational with proven leadership and experience in working in a matrix organization
- Healthcare/Consumer products experience is ideal but not necessary.
- Strong business partnering, analytical, modelling, and data visualization skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including financial story telling with ability to link business drivers to financial outcomes
- High local/regional/global and cross functional collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau etc) is a plus.
