Job summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in payroll configuration, implementation, integration, and production support. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to deliver effective ECP solutions, ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain statutory compliance, and support continuous improvement within a pharmaceutical environment

The role requires in-depth functional knowledge of SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP, along with practical experience in payroll configuration, EC-to-ECP integration, testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Areas of Responsibility:

- Participate in end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementation projects, including requirements analysis, functional configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support

- Perform hands-on payroll configuration, including wage types, payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules (PCRs), payroll areas, and payroll calculation logic

- Configure and support Employee Central (EC) to ECP integration, including employee data replication, monitoring, and error resolution

- Execute payroll testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, parallel payroll runs, payroll validation, and reconciliation

- Support payroll migration activities, data validation, cutover preparation, go-live execution, and hypercare.

- Configure and support payroll processes in accordance with country-specific taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

- Work with Payroll Control Center (PCC) to monitor payroll processes, investigate exceptions, resolve issues, and support payroll controls.

- Analyze payroll discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate functional solutions

- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Time Management, and IT teams to resolve functional and integration-related issues.

- Support ongoing payroll operations, system enhancements, change requests, and production incidents.

- Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration records, test scenarios, and supporting project documentation and go easy with stakeholder discussions.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) certification preferred.

Experience

6+ years of experience in SAP Payroll / SAP SuccessFactors, with strong hands-on experience in Employee Central Payroll (ECP

Skill (Functional & Behavioural):

- Solid functional knowledge of SAP Payroll configuration, including wage types, schemas, PCRs, payroll areas, and payroll processing

- Practical experience with Employee Central-to-ECP integration and employee data replication

- Experience in payroll testing, parallel runs, data migration, payroll reconciliation, and go-live support.

- Working knowledge of Payroll Control Center (PCC), payroll monitoring, and exception handling.

- Understanding of statutory payroll requirements, taxation, and compliance processes.

- Experience supporting payroll requirements for diverse employee populations, including manufacturing, R&D, corporate, and field sales workforces.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
