Senior System Engineering Specialist - deadline 26/10/2026

- IT support, design and troubleshooting ranging from large Server, SAN farms to complex platforms;
- Configuration/Troubleshooting of Virtual environments: VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon;
- Server management, Operating System (OS) knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows);
- Design, implementation and administration of backup and restore on solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce;
- Administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
- Administration of Storage systems on traditional SAN, CEPH and VSAN;
- Managing OCP platform in DEVOPS mode with related supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps,
- Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;
- Development, execution and troubleshooting of Ansible and Powershell scripts;
- PKI and certificate administration;
- Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk;
- Administration of Oracle infrastructure, namely EXADATA and ZDRLA;
- Administration of mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and anti-spam;
- Centralized deployment of software and updates.

Additional Tasks:

- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other
- protocols.
- Create and optimize custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes) to automate workflows, enhance UI
- functionality, and improve platform performance.
- Configure and manage data imports/exports, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance. • Build reusable components—such as Flow Designer sub flows and UI policies—to accelerate future development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions within ServiceNow.
- Conduct system and integration testing using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Monitor platform health, usage, and compliance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Work will include customizations and integrations of the following modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, etc...

Requirements

Education Requirements: Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge and experience with HW management, racking, cabling, replacement, FW upgrades;
- HW/SW inventory and configuration management;
- Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon);
- Knowledge and experience with managing Oracle HW;
- Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windows OS administration of large farms;
- Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management;
- Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems;
- Centralized IT security policy management;
- Knowledge and experience in administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
