Pollmeier is the global market leader for innovative hardwood products made from beech wood. We are growing internationally and aim to further expand our direct sales business across South-East Asia as well as Oceania. As Team Leader South-East Asia as well as Oceania, you will lead an international team, develop new customers and markets, and take responsibility for achieving our sales targets.
What you will be responsible for
- You will build up, lead, develop and manage your own sales team for South-East Asia as well as Oceania, ensuring strong individual and overall team performance
- You take responsibility for achieving sales and profit targets in your sales region together with your team and actively steer performance through clear targets, coaching and regular reviews
- You further expand our direct sales business, support your team in winning new customers for Pollmeier and ensure sustainable sales success across the region
- You develop market, customer and sales strategies and implement them successfully within your team
- You ensure a reliable sales pipeline as well as realistic and well-founded forecasts across the entire sales organization in your region
- You actively drive the further development of sales processes, structures, KPIs and performance management standards
What we are looking for
- Proven success in direct sales of technical products - ideally in a timber related industry
- Leadership experience and willingness to take responsibility for a team
- Strong process understanding as well as confidence in handling data, KPIs and sales forecasts
- Willingness to travel extensively and enthusiasm for customer visits together with the sales team
- Fluency in English; any additional language is considered a plus
