Our team transforms scientific information into structured data and works closely with Data Science and Technology partners to design, train, and validate new AI‑driven search capabilities. Together, we contribute our expertise to deliver innovative solutions that enhance how chemistry knowledge is discovered.

About the Role: -

As a Cheminformatics Expert, you will bring chemistry expertise together with quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy of an automated pipeline that extracts substances, reactions and chemistry-related concepts from documents. You will evaluate extraction outputs, identify systematic errors, build high-quality test sets, and collaborate with Data Science and Technology partners to drive continuous improvement of the data we deliver.

Responsibilities: -

- Analysing large chemistry datasets to identify quality issues and opportunities to improve data extraction, enrichment, and structure.
- Developing automated workflows and tests to monitor and validate the accuracy of chemistry‑related content.
- Collaborating with Data Science, Product, and Technology partners to enhance data quality and enrichment processes.
- Applying coding and data analysis skills to design scalable solutions that improve reliability and consistency of scientific data.

Requirements: -

- PHD in Chemistry and experience working with large‑scale chemistry datasets.
- Experience applying cheminformatics methods to evaluate and improve data quality.
- Understanding of major life science or chemistry information databases.
- Ability to build automated workflows to monitor and validate content quality (Python, Knime or similar)
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with scientific and technical partners..
