Position Summary:
We are seeking an After-Hours Staffing Partner to support Temp Services at KPBI. This is a temporary part-time, remote opportunity with two available shift options to provide after-hours staffing support.
The After-Hours Staffing Partner, Temp Services provides responsive staffing support to Jet Aviation Staffing customers and supplemental crew members outside normal business hours. The role serves as the primary after-hours point of contact for customer and crew inquiries, urgent trip-fulfillment requirements, assignment changes, call-outs, and other time-sensitive staffing matters.
The Partner evaluates incoming requests, determines the appropriate level of urgency, fulfills urgent temporary staffing assignments, and accurately documents non-urgent requests for follow-up by the Temp Services team during normal business hours. This position requires sound judgment, clear communication, timely decision-making, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer and crew service.
The role supports seamless trip execution by coordinating with customers, supplemental employees, internal stakeholders, and approved staffing resources. The Partner also ensures that all after-hours activity, assignment information, open issues, and required follow-up actions are documented and communicated effectively during the transition to the daytime team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in business or corporate aviation, staffing, recruiting, customer service, operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting customers, employees, crews, or operational activities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to assess urgency and prioritize competing requests in a timely manner.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other assigned after-hours periods.
- Ability to respond promptly and professionally to telephone calls and other approved communication channels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately gather, document, and communicate information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling urgent requests, schedule changes, call-outs, or service concerns.
- Ability to work independently and meet response-time and service expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary after-hours point of contact for Jet Aviation Staffing customers and supplemental crew members, exercising independent judgment to assess inquiries, determine appropriate next steps, and protect continuity of customer operations outside normal business hours.
- Answer, screen, and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails involving staffing requests, trip changes, crew call-outs, schedule disruptions, assignment updates, and other time-sensitive matters.
- Assess each request to determine its urgency, operational impact, and appropriate next step. Prioritize matters requiring immediate attention and document non-urgent requests for follow-up by the daytime Temp Services team.
- Exercise sound judgment when determining whether a matter can be resolved independently, requires additional information, or should be escalated to management or the daytime team.
- Gather and evaluate relevant information from customers and supplemental crew members, including trip details, reporting requirements, position needs, timing, location, qualifications, availability, and other assignment-specific requirements.
- Fulfill urgent trip assignments by identifying qualified supplemental employees whose experience, credentials, availability, and assignment suitability align with the customer’s requirements.
- Use discretion when evaluating available candidates and coordinating placements, balancing customer needs, employee qualifications, timing, availability, and applicable staffing guidelines.
- Verify relevant employee qualifications, credentials, availability, and assignment suitability before confirming urgent placements, as applicable.
- Respond to urgent crew call-outs, assignment changes, schedule disruptions, cancellations, and other staffing matters by identifying practical alternatives and coordinating timely communication with affected parties.
- Coordinate with customers, supplemental employees, internal teams, and other approved resources to support successful trip fulfillment and minimize operational disruption.
- Communicate assignment confirmations, reporting instructions, schedule changes, cancellations, and other operational updates accurately and within expected response times.
- Maintain accurate assignment and employee information in applicable staffing, workforce management, communication, and operational systems. Ensure that records support appropriate follow-up and accurate processing of related staffing activity.
- Document all after-hours calls, information received, actions taken, assignment updates, customer requirements, employee availability, unresolved matters, and required follow-up.
- Monitor open after-hours staffing matters through resolution or confirmed handoff, reassessing priorities when circumstances or requirements change.
- Escalate matters requiring management attention, specialized expertise, a potential exception to applicable guidelines, or daytime-team follow-up. This may include significant customer concerns, unresolved staffing risks, unusual qualification issues, or matters with potential operational or financial impact.
- Provide clear and complete handoff information to the Temp Services team at the start of normal business hours, including the status of open matters, decisions made, outstanding requirements, and recommended next steps.
- Address customer and crew concerns professionally, using judgment to determine the appropriate immediate response and documenting complaints or service issues for further review.
- Protect confidential customer, employee, trip, payroll, and operational information in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation Staffing professionally and accurately in every interaction, recognizing that after-hours communications and placement decisions directly influence customer confidence, employee relationships, trip execution, revenue opportunities, and the Jet Aviation brand.
- Identify recurring after-hours issues, staffing trends, communication gaps, and process opportunities, and communicate relevant observations and recommendations to management.
Desired Characteristics:

- Attention to detail and strong follow through skills
