Facility Manager
Shape the future of workplace experience with JLL
Are you a driven facilities professional who thrives on connecting people, processes, and operational excellence? As a Workplace Service Lead at JLL, you play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional workplace experience while driving the operational and financial results that benefit both the client and JLL.
What You'll Do
Client & Stakeholder Management
You act as the central point of contact for key stakeholders on site, building buy-in where needed. You proactively communicate issues, actions, and results to the right people in real time, adapting your communication style effortlessly across all levels of the organization. You develop and implement best practices across your areas of responsibility, consistently applying them across the site portfolio. You stay focused on meeting the KPIs and SLAs defined within the contract, understanding that client and JLL objectives must align: delivering operationally and financially for the client while protecting JLL's financial interests.
Operations Management
You ensure the services outlined in the contract are delivered on behalf of JLL. You monitor a wide range of metrics to keep the site running at optimal performance and connect every element that contributes to the overall building experience. You hold landlords accountable for meeting lease terms, such as external maintenance and central plant management. With detailed knowledge of MVA/LVA, you identify and escalate scope changes or scope creep that could impact procurement and vendor management. You ensure contracted resources deliver work that meets duration and quality targets, addressing underperformance where needed. You build strong working relationships with all vendors under your control, helping them understand the client's culture and feel part of the team. You continuously review services and drive refinements to enhance service delivery.
Financial Management
You manage the processing and control of purchase orders, invoices, and work orders. Working with the Financial Manager, you help prepare final budget documentation and plans, administering the work to ensure budget compliance. You take ownership of operating the site within the agreed target budget and collaborate with the client and Financial Manager to develop the annual budgets.
People Management
As Workplace Service Lead, you are responsible for the management, supervision, and professional development of all direct reports. You establish clear goals and objectives for your team members, conduct periodic formal and informal performance evaluations via Workday, and develop training programs and career paths. You also ensure succession planning is in place across your team.
HSE, Security & Quality Management
You ensure all defined services are delivered in line with operating procedures, statutory requirements, and client guidelines, including applicable country health and safety regulations. You maintain official safety documentation and liaise with government authorities as needed. You actively understand and support JLL's Quality Management program.
The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; additional duties may be required to support the account.
How Success Is Measured
Your performance will be evaluated based on compliance with the service provision detailed in the contract, compliance with health and safety responsibilities, high customer satisfaction ratings as measured through regular surveys, adherence to best practice documentation, and your contribution to continuous improvement.
