- Ensure all Tier 1–3 significant inherent risks, SOX-aligned risks, and Tier 1–2 regulatory obligations are accurately mapped and maintained.
3. Key Control Inventory Coordination & Design Support
- Partner with Control Owners and Process Owners to ensure all Key Controls mitigating Tier 1–3 risks are recorded in the central Control Inventory and meet Minimum Control Design Requirements (MCDRs).
- Track the completion of Control Design Assessments (CDA), Monitoring & Testing Design Assessments (MDA/TDA), and Operating Effectiveness Monitoring/Testing (OEM/OET) execution.
- Review control attributes ("5 Ws": Who, What, When, Where, Why) to verify clarity, completeness, and audit-readiness.
4. Continuous Risk Management (CRM) & Event Trigger Execution
- Monitor and track automated and manual CRM triggers in CRC (e.g., organizational changes, regulatory updates, process modifications, new product rollouts).
- Coordinate the review and disposition of CRM assessments within 45 calendar days of trigger confirmation, preparing impact analysis for the GAU Lead.
5. Regulatory Obligation, Loss Event (ORE) & Issue Mapping
- Review incoming Operational Risk Events (OREs) from the Loss Capture System (LCS) and Level 1–3 open issues in iCAPS impacting the COO GAU.
- Execute the mapping of OREs and issues to impacted PRCMs within the 30-day window to prevent backstop breaches.
- Coordinate with ICRM to agree and map relevant regulatory obligations and publications timely
6. QRR, ARA Execution & Meeting Management
