About this role
Join us as a Product Designer in Qonto's Customer Lifecycle team and bring clarity to the most sensitive moments in our customers’ journey. You'll turn complex, regulation-driven situations, such as account restrictions, suspensions and closures, into experiences that feel simple, fair and trustworthy. You'll own this scope with real autonomy, working with Andrea, our Product Design Lead.
➡️ What you'll do
• Own features end-to-end: lead design from discovery to delivery, partnering closely with your Product Manager and Engineers.
• Design with compliance, not around it: work with Compliance, Ops, Legal and Content Design to turn regulatory requirements into clear, humane flows.
• Turn research and data into design decisions: run user research, read the data, and translate the insights into solutions customers actually need.
• Design systemically: advocate for design best practices and help shape how our product evolves. Use our design system and support scaling it.
• Use AI, with judgment: bring AI into framing, research and prototyping, and keep quality, compliance and craft intact.
• Raise the bar together: take part in design critiques and workshops that keep the team improving.
➡️ What we're looking for
• Experience shipping product: 2+ years designing digital products that went live, ideally within cross-functional product teams.
• Structured product thinking: you unpack a problem before jumping to a solution, and can explain trade-offs with clear reasoning and data.
• Strong craft: your portfolio shows intuitive flows, refined interfaces and real attention to detail.
• End-to-end ownership: you've taken projects from discovery through delivery and iteration, not just the mockups.
• Constructive persistence: you bring ideas forward, build trust with cautious stakeholders, and keep going when a proposal first gets a no.
• Openness to AI: you use AI to move faster, and know where designer judgement has to take over.
• Nice to have: experience in fintech or another regulated domain.
➡️ What we can offer you
• A high-impact scope to own: you'll work on sensitive account journeys that directly shape how customers experience Qonto.
• Room to grow: the team's remit expands in 2027 to cover new integrated services.
• A real growth track: regular coaching from Andrea, day-to-day collaboration with your onboarding buddy and other peers, a clear career path.
• An experienced, distributed team: colleagues across Milan, Berlin, Paris and Barcelona, in a team built on autonomy and honest feedback.
