About this role
The analyst will partner with operating areas to develop, track, and manage operational and financial plans. The analyst will perform analyses to help identify improved ways to manage costs and support forward-looking decision-making by operating areas.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related quantitative field and 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, English, or a related discipline. and 2 years of relevant work experience performing or assisting in the development of technical studies or analyses.
Relevant Work Experience
- 2 years Demonstrated quantitative experience. Required
- 2 years Demonstrated leadership and communication experience. Required
- Less than 2 years Understanding of ConEds business (e.g., services provided, current events) and FP&A function (e.g., objective, role, deliverables). Required
- 2 years Proficient use of Microsoft Office. Required
- 2 years Understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., income statement, balance sheet). Required
- 2 years Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities and proactive qualities. Required
- Less than 2 years Work experience with management reporting or budgeting tools such as Oracle or SAP. Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
